Our client is a well known and leading company in the timber and wooden composite industry. The company provides management and engineering service to the group’s operational business units. The administrative tasks include responsibility for product development, customer support and implementation of industrial processes at the group’s plants. For the official residence in a neighbouring country, near to Vienna we are looking for the
Project Engineer + CAD Specialist
with several years of experience in the derived timber or furniture industry and a good command of English
Your tasks:
In close collaboration with the project manager, the process engineer and the local colleagues involved you are responsible for:
| - | supporting the local project managers during the planning and realisation phase of the different projects (mainly, but not limited to added value related projects) |
| - | selecting, managing and working with external engineering companies and suppliers |
| - | designing, installing and commissioning new production units, monitoring modifications and upgrades, and troubleshooting existing processes |
| - | make sure that all relevant drawings such as infrastructure/network layout, plant layout or flow sheet for each plant are always up to date, filed in a proper way and available for co-workers which need such information |
| - | define and implement our clients standard (symbols, numbering, identification) for CAD drawings as well as set-up a platform (data room) for exchange of information between the different units |
| - | support the local CAD Specialists in transferring available 2D AutoCAD drawings such as layouts and side views into a 3D model (mid-term goal) |
| - | support the local CAD Specialists in terms of having the right and updated working tools as well as organizing trainings and workshops |
We are looking for a highly motivated, independently acting person with a secure and representative appearance. Reliability, the ability to work in a team as well as a solid emotional behaviour in stressful situations round off the profile
